Bitter Grounds - espresso fueled ramblings

It's that time of year. Norad has it's Santa Tracker website up and running. If you are looking for something for the kids, pop over to and have some fun. It has a countdown to Santa's arrival, games, music, stories and more. The best part is watching the "real time" satelite tracking of the elf's progress.

If you have a Windows phone, go to the store and get the Norad/Bing Santa Tracker app.  The app is great fun. Both the app and the website are powered by Bing Maps and Cortana. You can ask "Where is Santa now" on Christmas Eve and Cortaona will locate him for you.   Don't forget to click on the North Pole and explore Santa's village.  Norad has a second site, that will allow you to download a couple of pages for your kids to colour, so don't miss that.

.... even if you don't have kids, take a peak.

Catpaw with a pint & a typical bad haircutTime for a new look - the venerable cat on a postage stamp is now retired. As much as I loved him, it was time for a face lift - bad haircut & all.
