2021 Mongolian stamps, FDCs & postcards

Written by catpaw

September 04, 2021

2021 Mongolian stamps threw me for a bit. When I started this article, only 3 stamps had been issued. That was way down from last year’s offerings. So I left this for a couple of weeks and BAM! Out popped more stamps. August and September represent everything I expect from Mongolia’s designers – strong visuals that dig deep into the almost endless well of culture and history of Mongolia coupled with a distinct artistic sensibity.

I wish I could put a name to the artists behind the stamps, but no luck in sourcing the identities. Sometimes an artist name can be found tucked into the design, but not with Mongolian stamps. I’ve contacted Mongolia’s post office in hopes of receiving some unpublished details. But so far, no luck.
