Stunning Macau 2021 stamps – 澳门邮政

Macau 2021 stamps display the usual Macau commitment to beauty. And they outdid themselves with their Lunar New Year stamps. Designers Lei Tak Seng and Anita, Fung Pou Chu designed 2 separate, unique releases for the Lunar New Year. The first set went on sale Jan. 5, 2021. The Macau Post office does a stellar job of showcasing designers, unlike many countries where finding details is somewhat like punching yourself in the nose for fun. Macau includes interviews with some of the designers on their website. If you are interested in the art of designing stamps, you should check it out. There are only 6 interviews available, and it would be nice to see more. You can listen to them here: Designer Interview – Philately (ctt.gov.mo)

Macau Post also includes all annual issues from 2006 to the present day, complete with designer info and photos. Not all images are available for 2021.  They will be posted here as they are released. I’ll see if I can get high quality scans of each stamp so you can see the details up close.
