1) What are Crypto stamps & NFTs?
Entering the scene of 2018, crypto stamps are slowly being issued by postal operators.
In terms of technology, digital Crypto Stamps are tokens supported by several blockchain applications. If you scan the QR code next to the stamp, you will find the digital twins, i.e. the image of the Crypto-Stamp which also exists in the analog world. By issuing multiple versions of the Crypto-Stamp, you offer the collector the opportunity to build a collection. A “Collection” is a virtual album of stamps. Scan the QR code to add the Crypto Stamp to the collection.
When a digital Crypto Stamp is purchased or exchanged for a token, the Crypto Stamp is directly transferred to the relevant collection. Other ways stamps don’t end up in your collection are through blockchain tools or trading with other collectors. From there they can be transferred to other collections and/or owners. The collection is designated as belonging to the owner of the Crypto Stamps in it, but also to an owner who corresponds to the stamp collector. Because of this, it is possible that the entire collection will be sold or sold to another owner.
On this page you will find the different variants of digital stamps.

3) Definitions
Blockchain: A Blockchain is, in the simplest terms, a series of immutable, time-stamped records of data that is maintained by a group of computers not owned by any entity. Each of these blocks of data (ie block) is secure and linked to the others using cryptographic principles (ie chain)
NFT stands for Non-Fungible Token, which is a unique digital creation stored on a blockchain to document ownership. Often these creations are assets such as works of art or collectibles.

A cryptocurrency wallet, comparable to a bank account, contains a pair of public and private cryptographic keys. A public key allows other wallets to make payments to the wallet address, while a private key allows cryptocurrency to be topped up from that address.

QR Code: Each physical stamp with a QR code brings you to the website of the corresponding digital image. Next to the stamp there is a hidden area with 12-word text that unlocks access to the digital stamp and can transfer it to another owner.
