Dog Days of Summer begin July 3

It’s July 3rd and that means the start of the Dog Days of Summer!

Dog Days start, traditionally on July 3 and run through August, bringing with them a dog pile of hot, humid weather here in the Northern Hemisphere. So how will be beat the heat and humidity? Well, with Canadian dogs, of course. Happy Dog Days Valerie. This is your DOD today. FYI: DOD stands for Dog of the Day. Just in case you were curious.
