Greta Garbo ( Greta Lovisa Gustafsson) makes her entrance into the world September 18, 1905. 
There have been many stamps featuring this movie icon from countries around the world, but Sweden’s aloof study from 2005 is one of the best.

The stamp used Swedish artist Einar Nerman’s famous sketch from around 1937-1940. Nerman was a family friend and created a number of sketches of Garbo. The stamp was engraved by Lars Sjööblom.
