Greek post office update

The Greek post office website, Hellenic Post, is still offline for people outside the country. Collectors outside of Greece are still blocked from accessing elta.gr. 

Hellenic Post has recovered from the massive March hack, but postal officials decided to block visits from foreign IP addresses. There is no word on when their online store will be available to the world at large. I have someone who has generously offered to send images for upcoming Greek stamps and will be posting them as they arrive. You can see them on the on the Greek 2022 page. The first update will take place Monday June 6.

    yep – I just got back from Greece, where I visited 6 post offices. I was looking for the maxi cards online and could not access the website. this explains it!

      Frustrating, isn’t it? Hopefully they’ll be back on line or the world soon. I’ll post updates as I get them.

    Oh this explains why I haven’t been able to reach the website for a while now… You don’t happen to have any official announcements from the greek post, do you? I need information on my stamps, Elta!!!

I want to thank everyone who has dropped me a note and still visited the site, despite the lack of fun content. It's been a bit of a hard slog on this end and the double vision really makes things a bit rough. However, it looks like a diagnosis is on the horizon which means treatment. 

In the meantime, I'm going to try and write. If I get things a little wonky, just sigh with me. Its hard to take life seriously when everything is blurry and doubled.
