Charles Schultz retired early Jan 2000, publishing the last daily strip Jan. 3, 2000.  An additional 5 Sunday weeklies were prepared for publication, with the last one slated for Feb. 13, 2000. Shultz died the day before and this strip served as his final goodbye to the world.
