Expo 67 comes to a close

Montreal Expo 67, one of the great world fairs of the 20th century, wound down to a close on October 29, 1967.

1967 was a big year for Canada and Expo was one of the highlights.  Expo 67 was one of the main events for Canada’s 100th anniversary celebrations with 50 million people from around the world attending. One stamp was issued for the event.
