Surinam’s 2021 stamps should delight bird collectors. Three large sets of birds from around the world appear on 18 stamps this year. There are even more flowers & butterflies to admire & collect. Â
Although Surinam is heavy with nature stamps, it does offer up a few great stamps for aerophilately collectors. Two stamps featuring Boeing jets appear along with a yet to be revealed series titled “Classic Planes” . This is the set I’ll be looking forward to the most. Hard to say which aircraft will make the list. But my favourite is the Antoinette Flyer, but it’s usually left off most lists. We’ll have to wait.Â

Surinam stamps are clearly not designed for postal use. The sheet format for those birds, for example, is totally unsuited to being used ar the Post Office counter.
