Inauguration of the University of Zambia in 1966

The University of Zambia’s President Dr. Kenneth Kaunda was installed as Chancellor on July 12, 1966.
The university is home to 30,000 students, and is Zambia’s largest educational institution, offering 157 undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes.
