I enjoy visiting the Namibian post office page. I love the focus on the country’s natural beauty and always get the feeling I’m being invited to explore Namibia. Once again NamPost brings a sharp focus on Namibia’s wildlife and plants with their 2022 stamp program.
At the end of another difficult year dominated by the COVID-19 pandemic and related hardships, we offer you another refreshing collection of Namibian stamps. While the pale chanting goshawk is probably the most conspicuous raptor along Namibian roadsides, our other hawks are less well-known.
The Sandhof lily provides a seasonal burst of natural splendour that has become world-famous. Lastly, lapwings are a genus of interesting wading
birds that make for beautiful art subjects. We are proud to celebrate all of these gems of our natural heritage with commemorative stamp issues.
Enjoy collecting another range of wonderful Namibian stamps!Mrs Hannelie Maasdorp

Namibian naturalist & artist Helge Denker returns with 3 sets for the 2022 program. I wrote about Denker previously, and you can find out more about him here. His covers and cancels are the highlight of each series. Bird collectors will find a lot to love with this year’s offerings.
Enjoy.
